The Smart Country Convention 2025 once again promises to be a highlight for the digital future of the public sector. From 30 September to 2 October, SCCON will open its doors at the Berlin Exhibition Centre - with even more exhibitors, topics and space for innovation.

The Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community (BMI) will remain the patron of the event in 2025 and will once again have its own stand at the trade fair. Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser said in advance: ‘The further digitalisation of administration is the key to a modern, citizen-oriented state. The Smart Country Convention has become one of the most important platforms in Germany and Europe for driving innovation and promoting dialogue between politics, business and administration. As the Federal Ministry of the Interior, we support this central event in order to shape Germany's digital future together.’

In addition to the BMI, numerous industry leaders have already confirmed their participation - including companies such as adesso SE, the Bundesdruckerei Group, IONOS and the Association of Municipal Enterprises (VKU).

More space for more innovation

Interest in the Smart Country Convention is growing, which means that SCCON25 will also be larger in terms of space: in addition to the previous halls hub27 and 25, Hall 26 will also be used for the first time.

Project Manager Jusuf Hadziselimovic explains: ‘Last year, the Smart Country Convention once again recorded a significant increase in the number of participants. We want to offer both exhibitors and visitors the best possible platform for dialogue, networking and innovation, which is why we are expanding the event space.’

Seven stages, numerous workshops and exhibitor stands offer a wide range of opportunities for dialogue and networking.

Thematically, the Smart Country Convention will once again cover the entire spectrum of the public sector. The focus will be on artificial intelligence in administration, smart cities and smart regions, as well as IT security and smart infrastructure.

Companies can register as exhibitors here.

The online ticket shop will open at the end of March.

The call for speakers to actively help shape the SCCON programme starts at the beginning of April.

The application phase for the Smart Country Startup Award begins at the start of May.
