Bitkom presence in hall 25

In addition to the diverse thematic integration into the main program of SCCON 2024, Germany's digital association will be presenting itself live on site in Hall 25, Booth 600. Here you can find out more about the political committee work and the various services for member and non-member companies directly from our respective contact persons:

  • Information on the Smart City Index, Country Index and Digital Policy Monitor
With its comprehensive analyses and indices, Bitkom creates a transparent basis for measuring and evaluating the progress of digitalization in various areas. The Smart City Index is a comprehensive analysis that evaluates the digitalization of German cities on an annual basis. It examines 82 German cities with a population of over 100,000 based on five categories. The state index analyses digitalization at the level of the 16 German federal states. It not only assesses the general digital infrastructure, but also how well the federal states offer digital services and smart administrative solutions. Bitkom's Digital Policy Monitor analyzes the most important digital policy initiatives and legislation at federal level and assesses their impact on the economy and society.
  • Digital for All (DFA) - Advancing digital participation together
Digital for All is an initiative whose central goal is to promote digital participation in Germany for all population groups. Under the patronage of Bitkom and many other partners, the initiative stands for the vision of a society in which every person is able to take advantage of the opportunities and possibilities of digitalization. A central element of the initiative is the “Digital Day”, which takes place once a year throughout Germany and offers a wide variety of events, workshops and activities that deal with digital topics and are intended to appeal to people of all ages and educational levels.
  • Get Started, #SheTransformsIT and Smart Schools
With Get Started, Bitkom supports start-ups through networks, political representation and access to capital. #SheTransformsIT aims to increase the proportion of women in the digital industry through mentoring, networks and political measures. Smart School helps schools to build digital infrastructures and qualify teachers to use digital technologies in the classroom.
  • Bitkom Academy
The Bitkom Academy offers practice-oriented training for specialists and managers on current digitalization topics. With a wide range of webinars, seminars and certificate courses, the academy supports companies in qualifying their employees for the digital transformation. The topics range from IT security and data protection to artificial intelligence and sustainability. In this way, the Bitkom Academy contributes to the further training and development of digital skills in Germany.
  • Bitkom Relationship Management
Bitkom offers their 2,200 member companies a large, powerful network and unites the best minds and companies in the digital world. We organize a permanent exchange between specialists and managers and bring together providers and users of digital solutions.
