Strong presence of the German government at SCCON 2023

From November 7 to 9, experts from politics, administration and the digital economy will come together to discuss innovative solutions and strategies for the public sector.

The participation of the German government, which will be represented by five cabinet members, stands out in particular. The event will be opened by Federal Minister of the Interior and patron Nancy Faeser. Other high-profile keynote speakers include Federal Minister of Justice Marco Buschmann, Federal Minister of Construction Klara Geywitz, Federal Minister of Agriculture Cem Özdemir and Federal Minister of Transport and Digital Volker Wissing. They all emphasize the need to drive forward the digitization of administration and introduce innovative solutions across the board.

Expo area well filled

The Smart Country Convention expo, which covers an area of more than 10,000 square meters, is almost fully booked. Companies such as Bechtle AG, Deutsche Telekom, Adesso SE, Advantage Austria, Google Cloud, Hansestadt Lübeck and Ionos are just a few of the exhibitors who have already secured their place at SCCON. Companies still have until June 30, 2023 to register for the expo.

Bitkom CEO Dr. Bernhard Rohleder emphasizes: "At the Smart Country Convention, we will show how the public sector in Germany can also be digitized quickly and successfully." The event thus offers a unique opportunity to learn about the latest developments and solutions in the field of digitization of administration and the public sector and to exchange ideas with experts.

SCCON 2023 promises to be a groundbreaking event that will drive the digitization of the public sector in Germany and pave the way for innovative and nationwide smart city solutions.
