Zenner will showcase the necessary technologies and tools at the Smart Country Convention in Berlin. With more than 350 successful IoT (Internet of Things) projects, Zenner has a wealth of experience in the field of smart cities.

Germany is to become climate-neutral by 2045. The building sector - one of the largest CO2 emitters in Germany - is also set to achieve climate neutrality by 2045. For municipal utilities and local authorities, this represents a straightforward task that they can only accomplish together and with digital solutions. Zenner supports them with the appropriate tools. And with success: In September 2023, Zenner received the Platinum Award in the Smart Country/Smart Cities category of the eGovernment Readers' Choice Awards.

From smart metering to the smart city, Zenner offers sustainable IoT solutions for practical applications that can be implemented with little effort. " In today's smart city, it is no longer a question of whether LoRaWAN should be used, but which solutions should be implemented with LoRaWAN," explains René Claussen, Head of Business Unit IoT and Digital Solutions at Zenner International GmbH & Co. KG. In an already existing LoRaWAN network with the appropriate gateways, existing solutions, such as submetering, can be scaled quickly and economically, while new IoT solutions can be added without complications.

The smart city is a complex system that goes far beyond the generally known applications such as smart parking or smart lighting. Rather, it is the intelligent networking of many digital solutions from different areas of cities and regions.

Discover the many possible applications of Zenner's digital technologies at the Smart Country Convention 2023. You will meet Zenner in Hall 25, Booth 236.
