Expo-Highlight X-NRW: Digitalisation of daily mail and file inventories
Traditional scanning devices and workflows are often unable to meet the diverse requirements of public administration. They require a lot of manual work and are therefore time-consuming and costly.
An innovative and hitherto little-known solution for the digitalisation of daily mail and file inventories starts precisely here. The combination of a scanning system and an integrated letter opener reduces the manual effort for document preparation to a minimum.
The main advantages of the solution are:
- Minimal manual effort: The scanned material is only touched once from opening to scanning. This eliminates traditional time-consuming and costly preparation, pre-sorting and manual processes.
- Scanning of challenging materials: documents with folds and creases, tears and damage, receipts, transparent pockets, stapled materials or documents with metal strips, X-rays. All without changeover times.
- Unique selling propositions in procurement: Procurement is facilitated by numerous registered patents in the German-speaking market.
- Modern workflow solution based on BPMN 2.0 represents investment protection and allows for quick and individual adjustments and permits destructive scanning according to TR RESISCAN of the BSI.
The solution represents a much-needed innovation for the digitalisation of daily mail and file collections. It offers a wide range of benefits that can help public sector clients optimise their processes.
