Expo-Highlight recordIT: Digital building inspection saves time and money
Time savings, efficiency and quality of results
Photos and information collected and created in the course of inspections and tests are integrated into the building plans on site and are available there for further retrieval. This ensures that once information has been recorded, it is permanently anchored in the building. The spatial localization of photos and information, especially with regard to long-term and cumulative documentation on the structure, as well as the creation of a digital twin provides a valuable basis for further work, maintenance, planning and even tenders. The “single source of truth” generated in this way also forms the basis for transparent reporting and time-saving documentation. Any downtimes for work and inspections can therefore be better planned and reduced or even completely avoided with reference to current methods.
The most important functions at a glance:
- Create standardized, time-saving inspection and test reports for bridges, retention basins, retaining structures, transverse and longitudinal structures
- Correct location of damaged areas and photos on the object plans
- Automatic sorting of collected data during the structural inspection
- Localization of damage patterns on the 2D plan or 3D model
- Generation of defect numbers based on a predefined structure
- Use of as-built data for future inspections and tests
- Realistic representation of the structure in 3D using the “viewer function” with the images and defects created during the inspection Advantages as a structure carrier
- All inspection and logs in one place
- All photos and information located on the building
- Combination of 2D plans and 3D models possible
- Cumulative damage history
