According to a Bitkom survey, almost 9 out of 10 citizens (87%) in Germany would like their city or municipal administration to pursue the topic of digitalization more vigorously.

In the area of digital administration, the focus on the stages will include the digitalisation of citizen services, justice and education. But important security issues such as the protection of state infrastructures, cyber security and cloud solutions will also be a part of the Smart Country Convention.
